Helicopters of Austin instructors have a combined flying experience of 100 years and over 70,000 flying hours.

We now offer training in the Bell 206 (Private-CFII) including Turbine Transition, Long Line, Bambi and Seeding Bucket. We have has added two new instrument aircraft to our fleet, a Robinson R22 and a Robinson R44.

Jim M
Commercial pilot in rotor and fixed wind aircraft, flight instructor in fixed wing aircraft. Earned Bachelor of Science Degree from Kent State. Currently, Jim is a DC-9 captain for Northwest Airlines. He has over 22 years experience as a commercial airline pilot.
